An incredible place!!! Everything here is so beautiful and so delicious that it makes you want to come back again and again! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious!!! The avocado toast might sound simple, but it was so flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, with perfectly toasted bread, pickled onions, and all the little details. Absolutely perfect!!! The atmosphere is all in green, my favorite color!!! Such a pleasure for the eyes! The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Despite how busy the place was, our dishes were prepared quickly! Another thing I really loved was how clean the restaurant was!!! This is very important to me, so please don’t ever lose this quality. :) The coffee was delicious too, which is also very important! :) I will definitely be coming back here!!! 🔥

Adorable and delicious cafe!! Pastries are as delicious as any I’ve had in Europe. Since opening, the long lines have settled down a lot and it’s very efficient now. Lots of seating inside and outside. The owners are both SO kind and welcoming!

I really wanted to love Morning Star Bakery & Cafe after seeing all the hype on social media, but unfortunately my visit this morning didn't live up to my expectations. The space itself is absolutely beautiful. The decor is thoughtfully done, the atmosphere is inviting, and the presentation of the food is stunning. It's definitely a place that's aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for me. The food and coffee both left something to be desired, especially considering the prices. I ordered the egg biscuit sandwich, and while it looked incredible, it had an odd flavor and was extremely dry. The coffee experience was disappointing as well. My iced coffee arrived already watered down and separating. I also found it surprising that there wasn't a decaf option available. Even more surprising, they don't even offer cream or sugar for their coffee, which feels like a basic expectation at any café. Overall, the experience felt like it prioritized appearance over quality. While the atmosphere is beautiful, the food, coffee, and customer experience didn't justify the price, and unfortunately I won't be returning.

Words aren’t enough to explain how amazing this bakery, its staff and food is. When I heard about them and then read about them online, it was a given that I would go visit this place. And of course, it held true to the reviews. The ambiance is not aesthetic, but the food is soulful. I have never had bakery items that tasty, ever. I would go back to this bakery every single day if I had to. Darcie and Eric did an amazing job at everything. The local community is happy. They put in a lot of effort to make the place seem gorgeous and food taste delicious. It show! This is a must go.

After visiting countless bakeries and coffee shops both in the U.S. and abroad, I can confidently say this place is truly one of a kind in Northeast Ohio. The pastries alone set it apart—they’re incredibly detailed, beautifully executed, and clearly require an immense amount of skill and time. There’s nothing else even remotely comparable. Everything here is made from scratch with thoughtfully sourced, high‑quality ingredients, and that level of care carries through every detail. The pastries are stunning, the presentation is flawless, and the space itself is just as impressive. Every corner of the shop is intentionally designed and meticulously maintained, making the entire experience feel special. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic. They shared the story behind the bakery, explained the menu, and spoke with pride about what they’ve created—especially the coffee. And rightfully so. Their setup is unlike anything I’ve seen before: a fully custom, high‑tech system paired with an espresso machine imported from Italy. The pour‑over coffee takes some patience, but it pays off in a big way. What I ended up with was the most smooth, well‑rounded cup of coffee I’ve
